Since 1994 ICare has been synonymous with professionalism, superior products and an efficient well-trained team. In 1997 Carel van Westing took over the ICare group and in 2007 Louis van Rooyen joined as business partner.

Our Facilities
We are devoted to comprehensive eye care which we offer at two modern practices.
Our innovative, wheelchair accessible Michelle Ave practice offers more than just an eye examination. Here we have created the needed space to expand our services. We offer sports vision treatments, scleral contact lens solutions, dry eye treatment, dyslexia evaluations and much more. Here we also have a fully functional cut and fit lab, where we stock a range of lenses and are often able to cut and fit lenses after the eye examination. (Please note - we do not stock all lenses and it is best to discuss this option with your optometrist to avoid disappointment)
Our modern, wheelchair accessible Newmarket practice is conveniently located at Mall @ Newmarket. Here we offer comprehensive examinations that forms part of the specialised services offered at our Michelle practice.
Through attention to detail we have created comfortable and relaxing waiting areas keeping everyone occupied while you wait. The colourful paediatric waiting area at the Michelle Ave practice offers video games, a drawing board and plush toys to keep children of all ages busy while parents can sit back and watch live sports matches or enjoy a cup of coffee.
